This project initially started out as a rescue mission. The original CODAN Website was written in a coding language that is notoriously vulnerable to hacking. Indeed, the site had been hacked a year prior to our contract and was desginated as an unsafe site by Internet Watchdogs and anti-virus/malware software companies. Our task was to rebuild the site in a language that was safer and to implement security measures that would restore the reputation of the CODANuscorp.com Website.
Within two hours of launching the revamped site, the "Unsafe Site" designation was removed, and the site was reinstated to a status of good repute.
CODAN managers were pleased with the results and wanted to hire us to completely redsign the site with 2.0 Web technology.
Guided by an extensive style manual determining exacting use of colors, fonts, logos and page layouts from from CODAN's corporate headquarters in Germany, we succeeded at providing CODAN with a site that captures the professional excellence of this great company.
